The tidbits I remember from Harbaugh's press conference:
OC Mornhinweg and DC Pees will return. Nothing said about other coaches. Will add more coaches and schemes to help Joe. Does not see himself getting more involved in offensive play calling as this would "interfere with Marty's rhythm". Coordinators are his decision, was given that responsibility by Ozzie and Bis. Challenged Jimmy Smith to train hard in the off-season. Injury to Mosley's calf is a strain, about a three week injury. MM wants to run more.
Other: Worst road trip is Oakland. Everything else is midwest or closer. They face more elite quarterbacks (five) than this year (three).
Opinions: No Steve Smith means a downgrade to the passing game unless Ozzie can find someone similar on the market. Unwise to expect much more from Perriman than we have already seen. Would be nice to see them run more, but Harbaugh lies too frequently to take him seriously on this. Need help at CB, a pass rusher, a center, a wideout and a running back - a long way from being able to compete. Disappointed by Harbaugh's ongoing inability to locate and correct problems, and by his bland middle-manager comments. Disappointed by Bisciotti's confidence in his coaches. Suggests next season will be similar to or worse than this season.

The Special Teams coach is staying too.

The Special Teams coach is staying too. Sure. That was implicit. If Bis was going to fire him he would not have held that press conference. Bis or Ozzie would have.

Harbaugh is on notice for next season, so I guess he figures he might as well stick with the devil (s) he knows. As much as people wanted to see both Pees and Marty canned, there's always risk in bringing in someone new as well. There's no guarantee it will pan out either way.

That's the only thing I see. Harbaugh was told to shrit or get off the pot and win. Or you're gone in 2017.

I would imagine the Bengals, Steelers and even the Browns toasted this decision.
