Seeing that there's at least 8 active threads dealing with said subject in the Hangout, it could be a good idea!

They are more appropriate topics for a Friendly Bar than the Zimmerman or Obama threads.

Yeah, although I have no problems with guns whatsoever, however folks that openly post about their "hardware" in these days of political turmoil remind me of an old Texas saying:
"Big hat. No cattle."

They are more appropriate topics for a Friendly Bar than the Zimmerman or Obama threads. Which is exactly why you don't see those threads in The Hangout!!

It does seem like a lot because we have had a lot of recent "weather news". I'm not opposed but we need to be careful not to create too many Boards, we could lose people in doing so. For example, I don't mind making comments about weather but I don't know if I would visit a Weather Board because I just don't have enough interest. Does that make sense? It's fun teasing people about the snow but I really get my needed weather from a weather source. Just my 2 cents!!

OK, understood, Cowboyz.
My bad. The next thing you know we'll need a favorite ice cream forum.

Ah, you're no fun. I paraphrased a tag line from an old Baltimore crab house on Orleans Street - for the life of me I can't remember its name - that went something like "the crabs you eat today slept last night in the Chesapeake Bay."

Yeah, what was the name of that place? Going in towards town before Broadway it was on the left, wasn't it?

Yeah, what was the name of that place? Going in towards town before Broadway it was on the left, wasn't it? Yeah. I'm thinking it was at the corner of Patterson Park Avenue, but I might be off by a block or two. The last time I went past it and paid attention, I think it was a hip hop chicken place. Was it Gordon's?

Hoffman's in Westminster
Right now we're seeing some bad weather and that's generating a lot of weather conversations. If that continued for awhile longer I'd say a separate forum was a good idea. Right now, I don't think it is.
The gun forum, for example, exists chiefly because people on both sides of the issue insisted on posting constantly on the subject on another forum. The gun forum lets them do that without people who aren't interested becoming involved.

For the 25th time, I got tired of one person spamming the other nationals board and nothing being done about it so I took action of my own. Nobody else would dare say anything to him. As one can clearly see, when this board got going with the gun posts quarantined to their own place-I didn't start a single thread, not one, until today when he started it back up on nationals again.
