I heard on the news this morning that Pittsburgh police are being told to keep their riot gear handy because a group is planning a mass demonstration in Pittsburgh in the event Trump fires Mueller. Which is good news for Trump. Unhinged lefties (also known as normal lefties) threatening to burn a city down make Trump look normal and thoughtful by comparison.
Furthermore, it is becoming increasingly clear that Mueller hasn't got anything on Trump, and is resorting to increasingly desperate tactics to find something... Anything... To bring the president down. In short, he's no longer a prosecutor, he's a member of #theresistance. The more desperate his tactics become, the more his mask slips, the better it is for Trump and the GOP.
In the mean time, DoJ IG Horowitz has begun removing the masks of the hacks around the investigation. His most recent report revealing that Andy McCabe put politics ahead of justice as a matter of course. Lisa Page and Peter Strzok having already been exposed.
And at the end of the day, the meat of the investigation has moved from the election to Trump extra-marital affairs that ended over a decade ago. On the hope that a campaign finance law violation is exposed... And no one notices such violations are closed with a slap on the wrist and a fine when they're committed by an Obama or Clinton.
So why would Trump fire Mueller? A man who has inspired the Democrat party, their base, and the media to act like a gaggle of extremist members of #theresistance? No one has done more to discredit himself, the media, and all of Trump's enemies

Mueller had better watch his back, because he's setting himself up for his own prosecution. Conflict of interest, obstruction of justice, perjury, all are on the table so far with his prevarications, failure to actually prosecute an investigation into Russian collusion (the only reason for his existence), and failure to stop all the leaks set him up for prosecution, if the Pubs ever find a backbone. Notice that there are some Pubs that have awakened from their torpor, and referred several people, The Felon included, for prosecution to the DOJ. We'll see where that leads, but with Sessions not bothering to appear, probably no where.

Trump is all but in the clear, and the more the Democrats scream and shout, the more it resonates with everyone else when he calls it a "witch hunt." By the way, this seems to be backed up by the polling, which is slowly but surely moving in Trump's direction. And to be clear: I don't even like Trump. He's just less of a self-righteous a-hole than pretty much all of his detractors.

I'm not nearly as concerned with his personal conduct, barring crimes, as I am with whether he can govern effectively. So far, he has done a pretty good job of governing, despite hysterical opposition from the Party of the KKK, the fake news, and even much of the Pub Party. You can tell how effective he's been by the rising level of hysteria, calumny, and outright insanity coming from the Left.

I'm skeptical he can pull it off, but what if he actually manages to get the Norks to de-nuclearize?

I'm afraid most people will never hear about it, or will hear it was actually The Puppet's doing, because the fake news won't say much about it.

If Trump miraculously succeeds here, it will be almost impossible to hide it. Attempting to do so would only further destroy the remaining tattered shreds of #theresistance media's reputation.

Oh, they will say a word or 2, but then will try to spin it as either not much of a big deal, or as a triumph for The Puppet. They can't abide Trump ever getting credit for anything at all.

I think they’ll try to spin it a way that makes Trump look like Kim’s puppet.
