I bet we would be calling out half the Congress and House if we looked at all the drunks and forced them to step down….. Psst, alcoholism is a disease, and you get treatment for diseases. So is Liberalism, but there is no known cure. And it's Dems that ignore, or even promote, their members that get convicted of things like DUI. Even killing someone with their vehicle while drunk. Ref Chappaquidick Teddy. Liberalism has been determined to be a disease as far as I know by only one doctor... Doctor Rush Limbaugh...

He got his position without your vote. Not for president he didn't. He comes across as an annoying talk show host that I would be forced to watch only because I'm stuck in a waiting room with a tv. John Kerry... a talk show host?... you gotta be kidding... remember Al Gore?... John Kerry would be even worse as a talk show host... maybe to listen to instead of taking Sominex to aid in going to sleep...

He got his position without your vote. Yup, he got his position through cronyism. Why not put a traitor in as Sec State? They already had one failure there. No... he got his position when he was nominated by the President and confirmed by a strong vote of the U.S. Senate... a vote of 94 Yeas... and only 3 Nays... Cronyism, huh?...

And Obama is President and Kerry is Secretary of State……..you can call them anything you want to, still doesn't change the fact that they are where they are and you are where you are hurling inconsequential little pebbles at them which they never see and that some of us just laugh at. Pretty lame huh? Yes, they are. And the fact that you still support them despite their wrecking of the economy, the total failure of their "foreign policy", the fact that the ME is exploding and they are clueless as to what to do, simply shows that we are in deep trouble as a nation. If we still have anyone supporting these losers, it's a sad state of affairs.

That depends on how you define success. Getting installed as Sec State, then failing at every metric used to describe competency in that position is not what I would consider 'success'. I didn't define any of her success stories since Park Ridge... but there have been many... and she certainly DIDN'T fail on "every metric" during her term as SoS... get real, Redleg... Several boobs have been written detailing Hillary's successes since Park Ridge... pick you up one of them and read a bit... the tell us they're all made up... Hillary, herself, can't point to any successes as Sec State. Having some sycophant or other write that "she looked smart", or "she was on time", or "she flew all over the world" as "successes" doesn't change the facts.

John Kerry wil never get the military vote. And the military vote is not going to select the nominee or elect the President either... Kerry won't be a candidate anyway... Not when Dems are so busy making sure that military votes aren't counted, since they are "absentee", and may get there late.

Oh, I've made mistakes. I've made some beauts. I'm not a drunk or a drug addict, though, I have that much going for me: I never saw the appeal in chemical happiness. I've seen a few drunks, though. And I wouldn't want any of them as district attorney. Maybe an ADA, you put him on the shelf for a few months while he dries out. Not the DA. By the time you reach that position you're either responsible, or you're fired. It's gotta be that way. It reads like your dislike of Perry is so profound that you'd rather have a drunk serving in an important public office than allow for the possibility that Perry acting in the best interests of Texans here. That's an odd perspective. The drunk can dry out, stupid lasts a lifetime…………. As defined by the Dems screaming about impeaching The Puppet, then filing charges against Perry for doing his job.

Is he? He forced a drunk to step down. I'd hardly call that irresponsible governing. He isn't even convicted yet. He withheld millions of dollars which hurt other individuals in the state of Texas to impose his own diagnosis of the woman... he is not a doctor or a professional counselor... he's a politician... let the courts sort it out... maybe he can give his friend, Tom. some friendly company... Or, if justice prevails, the Dems will, once again, look like the whiny little children they really are.

We had a contraction of over 2% in the first quarter of this year, and a 1% "growth" is not growth, it's stagnation. Wages have fallen 7% during The Puppet's reign, full time jobs are at an all time low, we have more part time jobs than full time now, 60% of college grads can't find a job, and if they do, it's not in their field. We have a real problem, and it's in the WH and Congress. The Puppet is doing his best to bankrupt companies with regulations and energy strangulation, he's flooding the country with illegals, and we have no idea how many terrorists are among those illegals. Yet you still support him. Strange.

Texas Gov. Rick Perry was indicted Friday on abuse-of-power charges involving his veto of funding for investigators charged with upholding the integrity of state lawmakers. The two-count indictment, handed up by a grand jury in Austin, followed a months-long investigation into Perry’s dealings with the Travis County District Attorney’s Office, which houses the state’s public integrity unit. The case grew out of the drunken driving arrest last year of Travis County Dist. Atty. Rosemary Lehmberg. After Lehmberg’s conviction, Perry threatened to veto funding for her office unless she stepped down. Lehmberg served a jail sentence but refused to quit, and Perry followed through on his threat, zeroing out $7.5 million in funding for her office. Lehmberg, a Democrat, had long been a target of Republicans, who accused her of partisanship in her oversight of the state government, which is controlled entirely by GOP lawmakers. Aides to Perry said he properly exercised his authority as chief executive. But a government watchdog group filed a complaint that resulted in the appointment of a special prosecutor. RutRoh www.latimes.com/nation/politics/politicsnow/la-na-pn-rick-perry-indictment-texas-20140815-story.html Considering it is possible that this indictment is politically motivated I'll give it about as much of a chance as Boehner's law suit. You know, the 'other' party of stupid being what it is.

No surprise on Turley's take on it... a Perry supporter and Fox News man...

Whether she's a Democrat is kind of irrelevant. She's a drunk, and a drunk shouldn't be the DA.
Partisanship here appears to be Democrats trying to make this into something.
