It gets unreadable after a while. Posters complain they will report to the Mods and then threaten the Mods. There is no civil disagreement without name calling. Probably too many liberals. LOL They do run it. Many former posters from here. The Mods don't stop the name calling.

The last time I went back there that forum had gone sharply downhill. Extremely vitriolic discussions. They let them do whatever they like, apparently including flame wars. It gets unreadable after a while. Posters complain they will report to the Mods and then threaten the Mods. There is no civil disagreement without name calling. The treatment the moderators both past and present receives goes beyond the pale. The pay sucks.

A body was found near the place where Michael Brown was killed. linkSounds like a murder that the riots will try to cover up. It least that's what the killer is hoping. Kind of like Katrina where a murder could be blamed on the storm ....

Now that you can read there again without cost, I don't believe I will post there again. Are there Mods on that forum.. Some of the posters are threatening the Mods with removal. The last time I went back there that forum had gone sharply downhill. Extremely vitriolic discussions. They let them do whatever they like, apparently including flame wars. It is definitely more civilized over here. What we have here is a shortage of LWNJ's willing to be civil. So they go over there and spew hate. Of course there are some RWNJ's who also are just trolling over there. So how many here think that an innocent unarmed man was shot from 35 feet by the Wilson for no reason? That seems to be the meme over there.

Based on the left's theory, you'd think this is all they do every day.

Most of the media coverage in Ferguson didn't help matters any. It was largely atrocious, and bordered more on advocacy than journalism.

I hope the protests die down after a few days... I agree with the grand jury decision... I don't see how they could have come to any other conclusion... and like the officer said to Joe Scarborough... it would have been the same had the kid been White...

Even the media at the DA's announcement was ridiculously biased. We've clearly got a serious problem in this country where a lot of people are more concerned about race than justice. It's a bit scary when the people who shout "no justice, no peace" don't have the slightest idea what justice is. As multiple people have said, if you can't get an indictment based on the evidence, a conviction would be all but impossible. And, no, skin color isn't evidence.

It may go on for at least another week. Brown's parents were on Today. Would expect to see someone on Meet the Press or one of the Sunday shows. The issue now is the police are now afraid to do their jobs without a camera watching and the media analyzing every move ......

A body camera on the officier would have shown what happened. From what I read this6'5" boy reached into the police car and tried to take the officiers gun he fired twice nothing happened then the third time the boy took the bullet.

Doesn't do much for people wanting to be police officers and serving the public... who would want to?... even if you do the right thing... or maybe the only thing (as in this instance IMHO)... you are vilified and protested all around the country...

He did more than just reach into the car... he attacked the officer who tried to pull his weapon to defend himself... when he did, the 280# kid tried to take the weapon away from the officer... had he succeeded, we might have had a dead police officer... with NO witnesses...

On the news this morning people were quoted as saying "there was no justice in Ferguson". In fact, justice is *exactly* what there was: the case went to the grand jury, which is the correct process. Of the ten people, three were black - a greater proportion than in the general population. That is precisely the mechanism of justice. What those people clearly meant was that they're disappointed a young thug wasn't allowed to attack a police officer without consequence. The behavior they advocate is a kind of survival of the most violent anarchy.

These people don't want justice, they want revenge... the most amazing thing to me is them protesting with their hands raised as if they are surrendering... which it's seems pretty clear, Michael Brown did NOT do... And you're right... this should NOT be a racial issue... but some have made it that...

I know... and as we watched the events unfolding on TV, my wife kept saying, "Why don't the police or the national guard step in there and stop that?"... I just smiled... so unfortunate...
