Another day, another failure. The federal government's online portal to buy health insurance suffered another glitch Sunday when the data services hub, a conduit for verifying the personal information of people applying for benefits under the law, went down in a failure that was blamed on an outside contractor. "Today, Terremark had a network failure that is impacting a number of their clients, including healthcare.gov," HHS spokeswoman Joanne Peters said in a statement Sunday evening. "[Health and Human Services] Secretary [Kathleen] Sebelius spoke with the CEO of Verizon this afternoon to discuss the situation and they committed to fixing the problem as soon as possible."

Somehow I feel there was probably a small sigh of relief around the campfire, something to divert the public's interest. Folks only have so many fingers they can point. Did Peters give an update on how Sebelius is progressing on the original?

Eons ago Michelle said everyone would have to give up a piece of their pie for the common good. Of course, what was not stated is that it would not include those proposing and passing the laws.

If this doesn't show up on Republican midterm ads all over the country, someone missed an opportunity!

You can tell your biggest fear it's gonna be a success. Well one mans success is another's failure. I come from the position that all of these entitlements need to be paid for, not that someone doesn't benefit from them. So how are we going to pay for it? If we can then fine and dandy, if we can't then it is a failure. That means Medicare, SS, Medicaid are failures in my book because we are rapidly running out of credit card to spend, adding this massive regulation infested boondoggle will not help, and actually harms because it hampers businesses (note the 50 rule), and harms people looking for full time work, note the 29 hour maximum work requirements, that means the economy is stagnating which means less tax revenue. So how can it be a success?

History has shown that government can't do much well, so maybe I will be wrong and all the people paying for their insurance with government funds will not run up the deficit, but frankly unless you can tell me where this money comes from then I will continue to believe that in the end it will just be more debt added to the credit card. You might call that success, I call it failure.

What will we get - an answer, a tap dance, an evasion, a distraction, a non-sequitor or an ad hominem attack? Place your bets!
