I'm not comfortable with Trump; while I agree with many things that he has said I can't shake the feeling that he is working for the democrats to make sure no one winnable (such as Carson) secures the republican nomination. Once Trump wins the nomination, he could back peddle on all the issues almost guaranteeing a win by the democrats.

And as I said, he is on radar but I make no decision yet. Long way to go

I'm sure Trump isn't as spontaneous with his bombast as he'd like us to believe. But he also knows the more outrageous, the better. In an age where people are being told to be intolerant of any opinion other than the inoffensive ones it's OK to have, Trump answers back with his middle finger. A man named Ryan Holiday wrote a book titled "Trust Me, I'm Lying". It was about how he used to move websites around like gutter bums to get publicity for his clients. He could do this because he understood that what they need are people to click on them. And sensation does that. Trump appears to be employing a lot of the tactics Holiday used. In that world it does not matter if you're selling a quality product or not.

Trump has the support of disgraced real-estate mogul and all around slimeball Charles Kushner (to whom he is related by marriage). So he's got that going for him. Article

In theory, Bush ought to have the wherewithal to effective counter the 'low energy' label. Especially since it really hasn't gotten a lot of traction in the media. Except he is a low energy guy.

I get the impression that Bush is running because other people expect him to. And that's not the kind of man I want for a president.

Both of which are crappy reasons. And both of which lead to a guy like Trump seizing the moment, when it's clear the party favorite just doesn't care.

Trump getting the nomination is the only chance Hillary has to win if she gets the nomination Trump might be able to beat Hillary but I'm not sure about O'Malley. I've repeated it many times before but, the most likely candidate seems to be the person that someone would most like to have a beer with. I think Hillary fails this test by most. O'Malley, not necessarily so much. I think if Cardin won the Republican ticket, the only one he might have any challenge with is Biden.

Hey obama! Ok, that makes no sense what so ever. Is Mr Trump running against Mr Obama? It makes sense in that many of us will be glad that Obama will be gone soon. He has been president 7 years 11 months 29 days 23 hours 59 minutes 59 seconds too long as far as the economic recovery has gone. Which is not to say that I want Trump to replace him, swapping liars is not what we need now.

Still, presented with a choice of Trump or Hillary, Trump is the more down to earth of the two. Hillary can't even get tea without asking an aide to get another aide to get it for her.

Yes but at least Trump would buy the tea, Hillary would drink the tea then steal the tea pot then lie about having done it.
