I'm no longer convinced there's an appreciable difference between Hillary and Trump. He was, after all, a major donor of her's. Other than he's not as big of a criminal. His main attraction is the fact taht he is saying things no one else is willing to say. He's changed the conversation, and brought some of the Pub candidates around to talking about what a lot of other people want them to talk about. Agreed. But so do Carson and Fiorina and Cruz. It's basically the same thing we're talking about in the other thread. Most of the GOP lacks the courage to have this discussion. Jeb! needs to leave NOW. The country needs someone with a backbone, and he's clearly a jellyfish. His support won't be going to Trump. Both of them are damaging the GOP brand, but at least Trump has the base fired up.

What! They want a snake oil salesman instead? No more sugar coating! Amurica wants a President who isn't afraid to call out the uglies and the fatties! Thank god all of us who post here aren't ugly or fat. Speak for yourself!

Jeb's support appears to be drying up, especially among the big donors. Trump is a media darling, at least right now, so none of the others are getting any air time. Cruz and Fiorina are being relegated to the back of the bus right now, because the media WANT Trump out there.

They don't really have to. Plenty of rank-and-file Pubs love him. True. And that worries me. I would hate to wake up and find Trump as President. The only thing worse would be any Democrat. Lots of time for Drumps star to set, I'm betting it will and someone that wasn't weened on Grey Poupon and caviar will get the nod.

Yahoo NewsDammit... I wish the rest of the GOP field would figure out how to handle the media this way. Trump makes me cringe... and there's no 'there' there. But damn if he isn't the only one (other than Fiorina) who knows how to handle the media.

The old marketing rule applies. "There's no such thing as bad publicity." There was some chance Hillary, canny political vet and apparatchik, could have defeated him. But she's got an engine out and the other one's belching smoke. Sanders blew up on the launch pad. That leaves a credible Republican to save the country for Trump.

Marco Rubio's support for the TPP disqualifies him from any position of leadership in my view. There is so much wrong with that treaty, starting with the fact that it was entirely negotiated in secret. The very least I expect on a trade agreement that expects my support is full transparency.

I dont mind that so much because the fact is there are more Dems than Repubs in the state makes it that way. Where I hate the criminality of the Dem party is their constant attempts to disenfranchise by Gerrymandering Repubs on the Eastern Shore and in Western MD. They managed it in Western MD the last time and have tried it on The Shore for the last 4 decades. Would it kill Dems if we kept 2 out of 8 Congressmen that we wanted not what Baltimore and Annapolis think we should have. If Dems in this state had Italian surnames they would be prosecuted under the RICO laws.

Yup, the Dems are getting as many illegals, and multivoters, signed up as they possibly can. Can't have actuall Americans deciding who their government is.

I wonder what the nightly rate on the Lincoln bedroom will be under Clinton II. I guess the more concerning thing though is our remaining uranium mines.
