I don't believe that's as easily done as said. Americans, particularly poorer Americans, are rather hooked on the cheap products China produces. Withdrawal will be painful. China holds a bit less than a quarter of our debt. 'Nuff said. A lot less, 1.2Trillion is much less than 17/4 or 4.25 Trillion. You're right. China owns 23% of the debt owned by foreigners.

Violating pollution standards. There's more than one type of sanction. It's no secret China is the manufacturing giant because it ignores pollution standards. Add to that their tricks with de-valuing their currency and you have a nation playing with a stacked deck. Meanwhile we struggle with unemployment. If you make life difficult for the Chinese to play these tricks instead of encouraging them maybe, just maybe, the American worker can catch a break for a change. They'll just move operations to the next dumpiest country down the list.

So, do you still use electricity? Do you now live in a mud hut, and use buffalo dung to heat it and cook your meals? I notice that you are still using your computer. Why is that? That "wastes oil". Do you own a car? If so, why? That "wastes oil". So does using a bus, so you shouldn't ever leave your home and go any further than you can walk. Glad to see you made it over to the new dark side. I was coming, but it took a week for the "staff to process" my application.

You mean like the sanctions put in place against Saddam? That Europe ignored completely? So, what's to stop countries from ignoring any sanctions against China. "Global warming" is nothing more than hot air spewed by Progressives to dupe the low intelligence voter into surrendering more and more of their liberties to their "betters". I don't think that "low intelligence voter" means quite what you think it means. It means exactly what I think it means.

I don't think that "low intelligence voter" means quite what you think it means. Whenever I read redleg about low intelligence voters I am reminded of Alanis Morrisette for some reason. I know little about her. Was she also a low intelligence voter?

Not as long as we still have unions here driving up costs, stopping production whenever they don't like something, and demanding more and more concessions. And it doesn't matter what sanctions you put on China, if they decide to violate them, are you ready to use military force against them for it?

I believe that kemmer, in this thread or another, has rather effectively dismissed your strawmen as just that as well as those offered by the left. There is no straw man there. If they are so concerned about "energy use", and pollution, why are they still using devices that add to that pollution and energy use?

The EPA has been used, almost since it's inception, to damage any industry the eviroMarxists don't like, and under this regime is being used to destroy the energy grid in this country. When they aren't being used to harass and intimidate political opponents of the Puppet and his Merry Marxists.

It means exactly what I think it means. Then the irony of your use of the term escapes you. Anyone that votes Democrat is, by definition, a low intelligence voter.
