Shadenboner! House Democrats seem to be a bit, uh, miffed. Geez. I don't think I could stand up right now without passing out.

Kristen Powers puts her very lovely face on the insurance cancellation issue. No bad apples? Oof.

All of this stuff needs the Harry Reid stamp of approval, and I just don't see that happening.

Truthfully, given the number of times Reid (and other democrats) have accused the GOP of being hostage takers, and having bombs strapped to their chests... I'm a little surprised there haven't been drone strikes.

Domestic drone strikes are probably a president or two in the future. Now, they'd have to execute a "mugging gone bad".

If my count is correct, 21 Democrat seats are up for reelection with five retiring senators versus 14 Republican seats with two retirements. 16 Democrats looking to have the albatross of Obamacare hanging around their necks. Just sayin'.

Just sayin'. Oh yeah. But reality assumes someone other than a hopeless ideologue. You've got 21 Democrat Senators that are looking at the millstones around their necks, and Harry Reid who doesn't even want to acknowledge there's a problem. I'm not sure if there are enough votes to remove him as majority leader, but if I were a Democrat Senator that wanted to get re-elected, I'd want to hear some flexibility from someone who has shown no flexibility at all.

Nancy Pelosi says 5 percent more have enrolled then the numbers show. That must be what common core is about.

Well, given that there is no income verification, no questions asked, that is happening. I saw one report, on MSNBC no less, that claimed that 80% of those that have been able to sign up have signed up for Medicaid, not Puppettax. Is that perhaps because the "no income verification" that actually is part of the 404care.org process - when it's working, that is - has determined that those people really do qualify for Medicaid? How do they know that, since they don't require any verification? You can list your income as anything you want, and they have to accept it.

I don't think 75% support abortion. At least, not abortion for any reason, at any time like the Dems do. Look at what just passed in TX, with overwhelming approval. People are finally realizing that it's infanticide. I did not say that 75% supported abortion at any time for any reason. Not all Democrats believe that. The last time I checked; about 22% of people wanted abortion completely banned, regardless of reason. Around the same number wanted it completely permitted. Most of the rest supported various levels of restrictions. 100% - 22% = 78%, which I rounded down. Here's a link. These polls vary widely. Texas is a very conservative state. You can't extrapolate what happens there nationally any more than you can extrapolate what people in Berkeley vote for nationally. However, even in TX, there are a whole lot of Liberals, mainly expats from NY and CA. And it's a real popular law that just passed. I think that the feelings are turning against the nearly unlimited abortion that has been the norm. And why is abortion considered a sacrosanct "right" when the 2A is being eviscerated, and the 1A is being attacked?

Income verification isn't quite as strong as I'd like to see, but it is there. If you get caught, the penalty is $25K and pay back the subsidies.

Let's see they have 100k enrollees but there have been 5 million cancellations. Does not sound like a success to me.

Before, even the IRS couldn't tell anyone that the income was false.

If the Repubs don't do something really stupid, they'll have House and Senate locked up. Re-read what you just wrote. Of course they'll do something stupid. They've proved that often enough.
