Gee can't others do what you guys did with Bush and pretend we didn't like him? Can we say all we knew he wasn't very good? Can we use the million excuses you all have for electing Bush twice? No? How convenient for y'all!!! You guys voted him in as governor of Texas twice and as president United States twice and you pretend like you didn't know nothing about him. You even have the nerve to blame the Iraq war on Democrats. what a joke. Poor, poor moses.....so unhinged by it all that he can't even compose a coherent response.

Actually if you read above it's pretty easy to understand. I think it's just you guys. You guys cannot handle anything outside of your box. It confuses you. It makes you angry. You don't know what to do. That's all I have to say.

*Chuckles* I like that one. People that can recall what happened in the "first 100 days" of his successor are smiling as well.

As bad as bho's numbers look: Congressional Approval Sinks to Record Low Current approval at 9% PRINCETON, NJ -- Americans' approval of the way Congress is handling its job has dropped to 9%, the lowest in Gallup's 39-year history of asking the question. The previous low point was 10%, registered twice in 2012. www.gallup.com/poll/165809/congressional-approval-sinks-record-low.aspx Bipartisan to boot The thing is, that number doesn't mean a whole lot. Ask people how their individual congress critters are, and it changes significantly. Bingo!! That's why I take little stake in national polls that rate the party- it's really all about your district. Nation can hate Tea Party-- but as long the districts that they represent like them, they're here to stay. Same for any group that is not nationally popular--- it's all about your local district- no voter in Arizona really cares about what folks in New York think about their representative in Congress.

George W Bush was hardly one of my favorite presidents. I didn't like the wars he got us into, I didn't like his "compassionate conservatism," and I didn't like how he let congressional Republicans run up the nation's credit card. Even when he was lying about Iraq WMD - and he may have genuinely believed those lies, but I doubt it - he seemed like a guy you could have a beer with. Speaking as a former military guy who got lucky and never saw war, it seemed to be that his love and pride in the American fighting men and women was genuine. His pain in seeing the wounded vets, ordered by him to go to the places that got them wounded seemed genuine as well. I'm sure that pictures like that exist with other presidents in them. You've got to be one cold hearted bastard to send men and women to war and not empathize with their pain and suffering and I don't dislike any president that much to believe they don't have that empathy.

Honestly, I don't know why the "George Bush lied about WMD in Iraq" meme still persists. It's clear that Bush honestly believed the very real intelligence that said Saddam had WMD. Why do I say that? Because CLINTON (both of them) believed it too. So did half the Democrats in Congress, and multiple foreign intelligence services. No doubt, in part, because everyone knew Saddam did, at one time, have chemical weapons - and used them - and couldn't imagine a scenario where he'd get rid of them and still obstruct the UN investigation. The intelligence turned out to be wrong. That's a very different thing than the president lying about it.

You guys pull this crap every time. Somehow it's the democrats fault. Dude the guy at the speech was talking about mushroom clouds!!!! I, and many other Americans were on his game in a second. Bush was the PRESIDENT! He was the leader. He was aggressive about it. And he was horribly wrong and did the horribly wrong thing and now we got thousands dead.

And of course we are stuck there. Incredibly costly. Just a train wreck anyway you look at it.
The Dixie chicks, the French, hippies and the people protesting the war, were right about this. And you neocons, yes, you still do exist, you're still the same people, were dead wrong.

So we are not the neocon's no one here other than say 1 are in favor of war. Face it the dem's had the same information as the president, and they voted in favor of the war. I personally was against boots on the ground for Afghanistan, bombing would have been enough for me, and was totally against Iraq regardless of WMD's, of course my philosophy is that if a WMD is used against this country then we wipe out the country behind it with WMD's, solves the problem for good.
