That crosses the line from your garden variety politician being unethical to being morally wrong. They know they're hurting people but their own power is more important. At the risk of sounding like redleg... the administration's basic approach to the electorate reminds me of the Soviet government's approach to its citizens. It seems that socialists never tire of trying the experiment; the socialist system never fails because it is fundamentally immoral, but because "the other guy didn't implement it correctly".

This is what I am worried about. I have decent insurance but if doctors and hospitals are only going to take the gold plated variety then I could be pushed out. The more I find out about Obamacare the more disgusted I become. And I was no fan of it to begin with. I'm no fan of big government but this is starting to have me scared. Before I thought it was just the garden variety stupidity one gets out of Washington but this is looking more like inflicting pain for the hell of it. It is crossing the line from an unethical use of force to being morally wrong. It is morally wrong and I am a bit worried as well. How much do our elected officials think we can afford? I wished I understood what Obama wanted. I wish obama understood what obama wanted-at this point it all just seems a muddled mess-and not just the aca.

It is not that the GOP has a problem with pissing down people's backs and telling them it is raining. They have a problem with the DNC pissing down people's backs and wanting the GOP to tell them it is only raining.
Well... stuff. Even the GOP isn't that stupid.

It's a piece of garbage and that's his opponents' fault because they refused to support it? How pathetic is this whiny little waste of skin going to get before he leaves office?

EY he wants his legacy to live on in infamy even if it means the little guy can't afford his policies.

Hey... at least some of them are still sufficiently connected to reality that they've realized that Obamcare is an enormous cluster-f, and they need to find someone else to blame for it. Pity they haven't yet made the connection that it needs to move beyond blame to actually dismantling Obamacare.

Sorry its Democrats that use the term unexpectedly a lot
you know like every month the economy does not improve when a government web site blows up.
Little stuff like that is always "unexpected"

There is no success because the website was not ready for primetime. d Complete management failure. You would think, knowing the scrutiny and attack this would be under, Barry would be doing everything in his power to assure a 100% smooth roll out. His contempt for his customers, the American people, and utter laziness in execution, would have had him fired from any private company for this fiasco.

There is no success because the website was not ready for primetime. d Really, the website is one of the smaller problems with this. All those people out there who weren't able to keep their insurance, and will have to pay a lot more... that's the even bigger failure - because that's a feature of this law. Not just a technical problem that can be solved. Even though I'm not convinced they'll actually solve the problems with the website either. Mostly because Obama's trying to fix the website with people who don't know what they're doing. You know, car insurance websites can get into multiple government databases to check your driving record, create a complex policy tailored to your individual needs, check with multiple insurers, and get you a quote in "15 minutes or less." In short this same thing is being done elsewhere very effectively. The right group of people doing this could have started over from scratch on October 1 and had the thing up and running correctly by now.
