Lol you guys really don't know how well it's gonna work or not. I think it's possible to extrapolate from the job that's been done so far, and also to use basic logic. They're giving a lot of people insurance for free or reduced rates. Where's that money coming from? If you say "the insurance companies" you're not paying attention. Meanwhile, thanks to Obama's team "deciding" what kind of insurance everyone has to have, rates are going up for the people who don't qualify for subsidies. Who's getting rich? The insurers who wrote the law. Who's getting powerful? The Democrats who bought a lot of votes with other folks' money. Including the money of people who really don't wish to support the Democrats.

source Essentially it is an open invitation to cronyism. This is Obama's answer to the GOP spending federal money to enrich Bush's oil buddies. It's all about stealing from the middle class, and it doesn't matter which party.

Hell, oil subsidies are still around. Let's not be so past tense about that one. It needed to stop then and it needs to stop now. But it ain't gonna happen. Not with the current crop.
The problem is that they're running out of Peter's to pay Paul with. When that happens the house of cards comes down and it'll probably suck really badly in the process.
They're freaking printing up $85 billion a month to ship off to the fat cats. That is Mugabenomics.
Just how bad does it have to get?

Lets cut all the subsidies, let people survive or fail on their own.

I suspect Obama may have to bail out health care if the young folks are unwilling to sign up and pay.

Dougar sez: I know. moses thinks we can't talk about the unmitigated disaster that is Obamacare because "we" can't win elections. Lol. Someday, "we" might be as smart as moses. Lol. The he mentions something about being an adult! Lol And on and on you go. Have fun! Isn't that your stock answer? That if "we" won elections we wouldn't be in this mess?

The president keeps trying to back track what he said about keeping the insurance and doctor you like based on it being grandfathered.

At one point, before they inflated the number to crazy proportions, wasn't the left talking about the 15 million uninsured that we needed to do something about? I mean, eventually I think it got to be 40 million... you know... once they counted the 15 million people who were eligible for Medicare but never enrolled, and another 10 million or so who could easily afford insurance but for whatever reason opted out. But I could have sworn this whole thing got started over 15 million who needed help getting affordable insurance. And now we're finding out that number is a rounding error. WTF? I mean is having 15 million people who can't get insurance a problem, or isn't it? And if it's not, why are we spending a trillion dollars on it?

What they meant was "40 million people we can get to vote Democratic, and with this plan, we don't even have to spend party money on it. We take the money for this from other people and call it a subsidy." Likewise, they don't care about the fifteen million who realize the Democrats bent 'em over a chair, because they probably won't vote Democratic. At least, not for awhile.

How much longer can this administration promise free healthcare off the backs of those working while more and more people are not working?
