What pisses me off is that my wife and I have played by the rules to get good educations, jobs, healthcare and now the rules are changing,we will pay more for those that could not/did not work for it. Its hard enough to be middle middle class; pricing health care out of reach will make it that much harder, thru no fault of our own. I wouldn't trust the feds to do anything, they are soooo inefficient, no accountability. How can they run healthcare when they cannot even get a budget together? That's why this will fail. Barry won on a slim margin because the inner city black vote came out in force. A non-black candidate- this won't happen, and the majority of the voters will again be middle class, with few inner city poverty votes.

I guess I want to be clear on this. Not speaking for anyone else here, just myself.
I WANT OBAMACARE TO FAIL.
I don't want to see it patched up, or revised, or band-aided, or anything else. I want it to fail utterly and completely, and so badly that the American people demand no less than a complete repeal of this law, and will never consider another half-baked Ponzi scheme like it ever again.
It is a terrible idea that is inimical to our nation and it's founders views, and I do not want it to work. I will vote for, contribute to, and campaign for any candidate I can who will try to stop this thing in it's tracks, before it has a chance to drag our nation down into a culture of dependency on the gov't, rather than the robust self-reliance that has served us so well in the past.
I hope that is clear enough.

You know-- I held out hope that it would work. Not that I thought it would, or that I agreed with it in principal- but once passed, well, the stated goals are noble, it does some nice things- wouldn't it be great if we could all be covered by affordable, low-cost insurance that allowed all to have health care access and kept down costs?
It would also be nice if we all had pet unicorns, woke up with hot belly dancer back scrubbers, and could fly like Superman to work....
Isn't that one way tyranny is imposed? Promise great rewards and benefits (trains always run on time, lots of extra living space) in exchange for unquestioning obedience?
Hmmm....

If this was 3 years in the making and now all the details are coming out, where was the all knowing media on this .. ? None, other than Fox, questioned the details. No special reports, no 60 mim. Were they afraid of losing favor to the powers..

What we really need to hope for is not that this thing continues to fail and suck, but that the rate of suckage continues to increase, perhaps even exponentially.
I look with utmost suspicion upon any Republican who is going to try to jump in and pull ObamaCare out of the fire. If they didn't need them when it was being crafted, they don't need them now. They put a fundamental reshaping of our national economy together without any input from the conservatives, rammed it through Congress by hook and by crook, and passed it without even the appearance of bi-partisanship because they COULD. Now that it is blowing up in their faces, I think it a bit late to go looking across the aisle for help.
Never get in the way of your enemy when he is bent on destroying himself.
Obama and the Dems own every inch of this turkey. I sincerely hope it crashes and burns, even more than it currently is doing, so we as a nation back away from this. Thankfully, for once their incompetence is working in our favor.

It is a case of over reaching by Obumble and the Dems.
Passing a law that eliminated preexisting conditions, insured portability if you left your job and a few other of the nasty's that insurance companies pulled and it would have been accepted with high praise by almost all. Then with that under our belts some of this other stuff would have been more acceptable and easier to enact. With more time and acceptance a better law would have been written instead of the crap sandwich we have now.

Which is exactly why The Puppet is pushing amnesty. Not only for the votes from the illegals, but to get even more parasites on Puppetax, to make sure it's never repealed. There won't ever be another person elected that even mentions repealing it, because the illegals, who will be flooding our hospitals, schools, and jobs, will make sure of that.

Then with that under our belts some of this other stuff would have been more acceptable and easier to enact. With more time and acceptance a better law would have been written instead of the crap sandwich we have now. Well who would we pay for the preexisting condition people? Remember these are people who either chose not to get insurance, or were kicked off their insurance for some technical reason. If we are going to deal with existing preexisting conditions we are in big trouble financially, if we want to deal with stopping the problem from occurring then we need to make some changes like insurance belongs to the individual so that they cannot be kicked off if their company lays them off, or goes under, that means getting rid of employer supplied insurance altogether, next we need to stop making hospitals take people who have no insurance, or can't pay on the spot, that is the motivation for people to actually buy insurance. I agree we need some fixes, but I really haven't heard of any that will work being proposed by our representatives.
