1,318 lies about trivia. The fact that the media tracks this down to such fine detail is discrediting for the media. Which only seems to care about the NFL, Harvey Weinstein, and what shoes Melania wears to disaster areas. In the mean time these are also the priorities of the left, including Weinsetin and Colin Kaepernick. We live in a country where multimillionaires like Kapernick, the Clintons, and Weinstein, who to all appearances is the creature Jabba the Hut is based on, whine about deplorables and how unfair life is for them. So maybe Mr. Trump should devote more time and effort to the dutiess and responsibilities of his office rather than spending so much time on trivia. But I'm not sure a tax plan is something trivial, especially when no one is too sure just what the plan entails or what it will do. And I don't think Kaepernick is whining about how unfair life is to him. In fact, he's donating $1 mil to organizations working in oppressed communities. Maybe Trump is devoting his time to the duties and responsibilities of his office. We'd never know if he was, since the press only cares about keeping running totals of the times he got some information wrong. If the media is telling you Trump is lying about a tax plan that hasn't been produced, then obviously the media is lying, since they have no idea what is in it. Finally, Kaepernick is obviously whining about how unfair life is to him. He's black. He's a minority. Therefore he is being oppressed.

Not quite what the Pres is saying, but I guess we have to wait and see. Kaepernick? Is your problem that you think Kaepernick should be a good black boy and stay in his place, or is it that you want the oppressed to remain the oppressed?

Hey, RJ, a new word: havcks! (I know, it's a typo, but I couldn't resist!). Trump constantly makes mistakes. He lies, he misspeaks. One site (I forget which one now, one of the fact checkers) has counted about 5 lies and misspeaks a day, but I might remember low. I seem to remember about 1,000 in just over 200 days, something like that. So maybe the issue isn't whether something is trivial or not. Maybe it's the President's continued distortion and outright lies, generally to make himself look better (how many people at the swearing in?) or to try to divert attention from something he doesn't want people thinking about (what better way to get us to ignore Comey and Mueller than to rant about the NFL?). I doubt that most members of the media is thrilled at pointing out Trump's mistakes. I think they'd rather not do that at all. However, there are so many that they don't have a lot of choice, do they? And nearly every "lie" that they point out generally is revealed to be the truth, or else one of their "sources" lying. Not to mention that the LR media lives to call Trump a liar, just like they lived to protect The Puppet from being found out as the liar, and Muslim Communist he really is. Remember the "video caused riots" lies that he told for weeks? Or the "If you like your doctor........."? You just want Trump to be lying, because you can't handle the truth.

You sound like the Commie. You don't/can't trust the press. This is the first step in creating a totalitarian government, in placing all control in one person. This is what Trump has claimed for 2 or so years now -- the "fake press" and "fake media" and "fake news." If he can set himself up as the only source of truth -- the media isn't, Congress never can get it's act together, the courts can't be trusted -- then he's the only voice people need to listen to. It's happened before. Italy and Germany. And Bannon read the playbook "The Press" is doing it's best to actually create a totalitarian government. They are undermining the legally elected President at every opportunity, lying about everything he does, ignoring the progress he's made in undoing the damage The Puppet caused, and trying to install a Communist dictatorship. Something like 95% of "the press" are Communists, and the major LR networks are nothing but the propaganda outlet of the Party of the KKK. Facebook suppresses, or outright bans, anyone that speaks positively about the President or conservatism, as does Youtube. Google hides any sites that support Americanism, patriotism, or anything praising conservatism. Where is the outrage by the Marxists over their "violation of the 1A"? I guess you consider the 1A only applying to speech that denigrates the country. What Trump has said about the LR media is the absolute truth. They run fiction based on 'anonymous' sources, that almost always have to be retracted, they take things he says out of context, and simply make up things to accuse him of. The tape of him, as a private citizen, saying things the Left takes offense at ran for 24/7 for weeks. Harvey Weinstein, and Waco Billy Boy, are being buried and then laundered as fast as they can do so.

I think there's a lot more than just one error on Mr. Trump's part. How many lies in the last 10 or 11 months? And I'm not sure that "climbing up Trump's backside" is accurate either -- I think I've seen 1 or 2 articles at the most, not total coverage for hours on end or multi-page articles in the presss. Or are you claiming that Trump speaks the truth pretty much always? You really are denying reality. Even Leftist "news" sites admit that over 90% of the coverage of Trump is negative. They don't like him because he is undoing The Puppet's legacy of Socialism, and Muslim invasion, and because he beat their new puppet, The Felon. Trump has spoken the truth in almost every instance that the fake news has called him a liar. Because the facts lag behind the stories means that they are having to recant their stories about him "lying" at an ever increasing pace, when they are even honest enough to admit that THEY were lying, not him.

Go back and read your post. You've seen one or two articles about Trump's disconnect from the truth, but also state its a huge problem. Which is it? Second, your priorities seem to be incredibly screwed up. I don't think Trump is especially honest. But I also don't think his problems with facts involve facts that are meaningful for most people. Again, the NFL just doesn't impact people other than a bit of entertainmemt. Sorry I wasn't clearer, RJ. How many lies? Hundreds or more. But only 1 or 2 articles about the NFL issue, though you call this "climbing up Trump's backside." The hundreds of lies are coming from the LR media, who lies about Trump 24/7. Like the accusations that he is ignoring PR, because he's a "racist". The point of that is not only to castigate Trump, but to deflect from The Puppet's criminal incompetence in handling every disaster that happened on his watch. And the lies he told to cover himself. I have yet to hear from the LR media about the massive assistance to PR, or the complete, criminal incompetence of the PR local governments. The hoarding of supplies by local mayors, the absolute inability to get supplies moved to remote areas because of systemic incompetence for decades allowing the infrastructure to deteriorate to the point that it's unuseable now. They won't report on any of that, because the mayors that are blocking and hoarding are Democrats, as were the past pols that spent money shoring up their power instead of improving the infrastructure.

You mean like the best disaster response since Reagan? You mean like almost doubling the GDP in 9 months over The Puppet's almost recession of the last 8 years? You mean like stopping the illegal Democrat invasion, despite the traitors in the Party of the KKK doing everything they can to stop him? You mean like handling NK far better than all of his predecessors since Reagan combined? Kapernick did nothing at all but whine until he got fired, and people started asking why he was doing nothing BUT whining. He's lying about the "oppression", unless he's talking about the way the Party of the KKK has treated blacks for hundreds of years.

Is your problem that you think Kaepernick should be a good black boy and stay in his place, or is it that you want the oppressed to remain the oppressed? They are lying again. Or still. Every time any Pub tries to cut taxes, the Party of the KKK gets hysterical, and insists that the cuts are "only for the rich". If the "rich" get any cuts at all, it doesn't matter what anyone else gets, it's always "only for the rich". The Party of the KKK thinks all money belongs to the Federal government, and that any tax cuts are taking money out of their pockets. And it is, since they are stealing as much as they can get.
You haven't noticed 'any whining on his part' because you accept the lie that minorities are 'oppressed'. They are, but not like you think they are. They are oppressed by Democrat policies that keep the kids stuck in failed schools, because the teacher's unions don't want any competition. They are oppressed by Democrat policies that import illegal Democrats to take jobs that the minority kids could be taking, because the Party of the KKK has written off the blacks, and are committing genocide through Planned Parenthood, and importing drug gangs to kill them. But Kapernick is lying about what he's "protesting". Blacks are shot, and killed, by police at a much lower rate than whites are. Of course, he doesn't want to hear that, because it shows how stupid he is to believe the lies coming from BLM. He's a racist demanding that he, and only he, be heard

Only a con-artist would attempt to analyze such a thing, his findings would only be a Rorshach Test result for his own political leanings, and only an imbecile would take them seriously. In short, the analsis you've seen are almost by definition only politics. There are no "oppressed" in this country. If Kaepernick wants to do something for someone, he can go start a foundation, raise money, and volunteer. Polticizing the national anthem and the NFL for the sake of some pointless virtue signaling is a display of ignorance dressed up as a middle finger to the working class.

You asked what he should have done rather than protest the national anthem. Again, Kaepernick is an extremely wealthy, coddled athelete. The typical NFL viewer is a working class male who can only dream of living Kaepernick's life. He's the wrong spokesman, saying the wrong thing to the wrong audience. It's like Harvey Weinstein making a movie about the evils of sexual harrassment in the workplace, and expecting Paula Jones to support it. www.dictionary.com/browse/oppressionOppression is the exercise of authority or power in a burdensome, cruel, or unjust manner. This happens in communist and Muslim countries. It doesn't happen in the US. There are individuals who get raw deals, and others who are born into poverty and never rise out of It, but they are not oppressed. Our government is imperfect, but it is neither deliberately cruel nor unjust. To claim that oppression exists in this country is to define the term down to the point of it not having any meaning. If the poor are oppressed in the United States, what term would you use to describe women in, say, Saudi Arabia?

If you're content to live in that society, fine -- that's what the white supremacists are trying to regain. But a lot of people think we can do better than the status quo.

If you're content to live in that society, fine -- that's what the white supremacists are trying to regain. But a lot of people think we can do better than the status quo. If that is the society you live in, you live in a fantasy world. No doubt Kaepernick lives there too. In the real world, no one is forced to live in, or is excluded from “segregated neighborhoods” so they are not actually segregated. There is slightly more of a point about “segregated schools,” however it is the Trump Administration and Betsy DeVos who are actively pursuing school choice and people like you opposing it. Congrats, PAM, under your logic, you’re an oppressor. There have been a very few isolated cases of the police shooting first and asking questions later. On the list of things oppressing minority communities, the police do more to protect said communities than oppress them. All of the actual statistics demonstrate it’s other members of the oppressed communities (gangs) that do the most to oppress these communities. Now, if you want to add the teachers unions and city politicians to the list of oppressors keeping minorities “trapped in segregated schools” there’s a partial point to be had there, but again, people are free to leave bad neighborhoods. The main problems I and other NFL viewers have is the politicization of sports, and the truly raging hypocrisy of people who have been handed everything lecturing the working class about oppression. Their protests are of the symbols of our country, which is NOT oppressive. If Kaepernick wants to work to alleviate poverty, good for him. He can do that on his own time. But the form his speech has taken is to call his fellow citizens oppressors, and he’s making it from a place of extreme privilege to people who can only dream of living his life. Kapernick’s logic, in his own words: This is a blatant shot at the country, and it’s full of outright lies. There haven’t been ANY police officers who have gotten away with murder in a very long time.

So, what "charity" or "foundation" did he donate to? Has he actually donated money, or has he just said he's going to? When will he start going out into 'his' communities to work with the people there? Why hasn't he ridden with police to actually see what goes on? Several of the "protestors" have done so, and much of their opinions have changed. They saw what reality was, as opposed to the racist propaganda coming from BLM and the fake news.
Again, you simply regurgitate the racist, Communist propaganda from the fake news. Blacks are shot by police at a far smaller rate than whites. Even though blacks commit crimes at massively greater frequency. They don't 'shoot first and ask questions later'. They do their jobs, quite well, in nearly every situation. The issue is the race baiters from the Party of the KKK, and the Communist Party (sorry, that's redundant), wanting blacks to be given a free pass to do whatever they want to whomever they want with no consequences. Because of "slavery" or some other blather. No race, no group, no nationality has escaped slavery at some period in history, so why are blacks so special? They don't "disproportionately" arrest blacks and minorities. Blacks and minority disproportionately commit crimes, so of course they are arrested. Shouldn't they be? Because they are minorities? Maybe they should obey the law, and they wouldn't be arrested so often.

Yea, RJ, we shouldn't politicize sports. You might tell that to Jackie Robinson . . . Jim Brown . . . Tommy Smith and John Carlos . . . and dozens of others.
Handed everything? Where do you live? A white enclave somewhere? If you'd bother to check, welfare roles are down over the last 15 or 20 years.
I think you're proving, RJ, that you're one of those people who wants to keep the status quo, keep white power reigning. Everything you say seems to point to that.
Why do you have a problem with the First Amendment?

Why do you have a problem with the First Amendment? Yes, NFL players are handed everything. These are guys getting paid tens of millions of dollars every year to play a game, by a country they have the unmitigated gall to call oppressive. If you think otherwise, you're obviously living in the bubble. This is not a first amendment issue. The players can say what they want, to who they want, when they're off the clock. When they're representing the NFL, at an NFL event, the NFL has the right to shut them up. Likewise, I have the first amendment right to call them out on their bullcrap. So, what is your problem with the First Amendment? Oh that's right. It doesn't protect me. I want to keep white power reigning. LMAO at the insane contradictions in your ideas.

Check the salaries, RJ. Most NFL players are not making tens of millions. In fact, very few make that much. But continue to live in you mythological world.
Yes, the NFL has the right to shut them up -- any employer does. But what has the NFL done? Nothing.
Glad you admit that you want to keep white power reigning. Had a feeling that was the case.

Plus the average career of an NFL player is only 2.66 years.

Check the salaries, RJ. Most NFL players are not making tens of millions. In fact, very few make that much. But continue to live in you mythological world. Kaepernick made $10.4 million in 2015, and $11.9 million in 2016. He's a .001%er. The average NFL salary is about $2 million a year. New rookies are at $365,000. The average joe watching these people would consider themselves very well off earning 10% of the average player salary. In fact, $200,000/yr puts one very close to that 1%er level where you lose the moral authority to lecture ANYONE about how oppressive your country is. Get a clue man, everyone outside your liberal elite bubble knows accusing someone else of racism is both a cop out, and just a way to shut them up once you've lost an arguement. You need to get out of your elitist enclave and spend some time living in "flyover country." You might learn why the "white privelege" trope is ludicrous. The only "privilege" that still exists in this country is liberal privilege. It's manifest in people like Kaepernick and Harvey Weinstein who think they have a right to lecture others about oppression.
