What “facts?” Accusations are not facts, and Democrats make them for political gain. You’ve done it. That’s all Winston and bobloblaw ever do, and your former presidential candidate probably killed her campaign calling people deplorable. You refuse to read the article about the right's continued war on %women, their continued hatred of women. You did not even acknowledge the FACT that 70% of the congressmen charged with sexual offenses since 1990 are Republicans. Instead, you continue to accuse us of throwing around accusations. Sorry, Charlie, pointing out FACTS are not making accusations. Sorry you don't know the difference. The Huffington Post does not, and never has written about facts. They are a political journal with an anti-Trump, anti-Republican agenda. And they’re proud of it. Christ man, couldn’t you have even managed CNN or WaPo? It would still be biased, but at least those organizations pretend to be objective, allowing you some plausible deniability. A HuffPost hit piece isn’t evidence of anything other than being a HuffPost hit piece. Look, I’ve made the point that liberals and Democrats accuse anyone and everyone who disagrees with them of heinous things, and thus said claims should be discounted without some further evidence. And what did you, and Winston, and aboutwell do? You accused me of henious things. You proved me right. And you’re doubling down on it. You have no credibility with me or anyone outside your rapidly shrinking bubble. And rightfully so. You’ve demonstrated to me that Trump and Moore are probably just victims of Left-wing smear campaigns. Because that’s all leftists do. You don’t contribute anything to society but division, and the only way for Democrats to hold on to power is to try and tear down people who disagree with them. And you’ll just keep right on proving me right. You can’t help it. It’s all you got.

And you claim to have credibility? Amazing. You refuse to read anything that doesn't support your own narrow agenda. You constantly attack people you disagree with. You refuse to look at facts. You spout facts (only 92% of rape allegations are credible), but what that same stat seems to show that Mr. Trump is actually being accused in credible attacks, you deny everything. What a piece of work. Narrow minded, biased, unwilling to read or to discuss. Why do you post on a "discussion board" when you have no intention of discussing anything except you own narrow beliefs??

It's just a bunch of conspiracy theories from some Trump's Pravda Fox News. They've got everything on her. Just the destruction of government property, especially electronic devices that might have classified information on them. There is a strict procedure for that, and when that information is under subpoena, it's another crime. Comey laid it out in his "speech" before Congress. At least 7 felonies. Just because you refuse to acknowledge reality doesn't mean it's not there.

Deplorables, Palealeman, deplorables... if it weren't for them people like Trump and Moore wouldn't have a chance... Unfortunately, here in the South... my home... I am surrounded by ignorant deplorables... and they are determined to stay that way... Understood, AW. I couldn't help but shake my head the remarks several people in Alabama made last week when asked about Roy Moore, especially some of the pastors. The bottom line seems to be keeping a republican in Congress regardless of what he's done. Sort of reminds me of Trump's "I could kill a man in Times Square and not be convicted." It's a rather sorry state of affairs when one party spends 8 years opposing everything, but when it attains power can't get its act together to do anything positive. It's a rather sorry state of affairs when a party who wanted an individual health insurance mandate now tries to withdraw it because the other party passed it. Oh, Romney got such a mandate in Massachussets, based on "Republican Wisdom" from the Heritage Foundation. It's a rather sorry state of affairs when one party tries to push a tax cut as a benefit to the middle class when it doesn't do much for the middle class to begin with and then almost completely eliminates those middle class benefits in a few years, while giving millionaires and others with large incomes hugh tax breaks that will remain permanent, and then still tries to maintain that it's a middle class tax cut. It's a sorry state of affairs.

Coming from someone who’s first instinct is to accuse me of being a harasser? Really? Are you for real? You’re an intellctial lightweight who can’t separate basic leftist shutuperry fron a reasoned arguement. I have nothing to discuss with you because you lack the intellect to respond in a manner that doesn’t involve wild accusations. I understand this is a common problem on the left. It’s all bobloblaw and Winston ever do. Besides, I don’t need to read another HuffPost article bemoaning a wage gap that disappears when you control for education and experience, and rolling back Obama era Title IX rules that established campus kangaroo courts. When you’ve read one of those, you’ve read them all. It’s mindless gibberish based on Left-wing fantasies. Do you guys still believe 20% of college women are raped too? Or have you bumped that outlandish claim even higher?

In other words, you want to stay in you little cocoon, avoid the real world, and live in your own little world supported by your narrow view of what you consider. In other words, you want to keep spewing drivel at a left that you oppose, but refuse to consider anything that says that the right is as bad or worse. In other words, you have no use for facts, and you contention of "reasoned argument" is just another convention to hide your lies and distortions. Got it.

Not projecting anything. Just speaking the truth to someone who wants to move America backwards. These things you believe are the “truth” - that women never lie about rape, that they make 80 cents on the dollar for equal work, that 20% of them get raped if they go to college, etc., aren’t just wrong; they’re cartoonishly so. But if you want to go around believing that women are safer in the most dangerous neighborhood in the most dangerous city in the US than they are at Yale, be my guest.

If you're going to make claims, back them up. I'll give you the rape thing with the 8% false claims. But that still leaves 92% of claims that are valid.

If you're going to make claims, back them up. I'll give you the rape thing with the 8% false claims. But that still leaves 92% of claims that are valid. Did you read that Wiki article? 8% are provably false - these are the cases that were filed maliciously. Most studies show that about 40% of rape claims are unverifiable. These are the he-said-she-said claims. Cases where one or both parties were drunk and/or high and may not correctly remember details. Cases where consent was ambiguous. Cases that are frivolous. This 40% also includes malicious accusations where the accused isn’t able to prove himself innocent but there’s also not enough evidence to prove guilt; as well as cases of actual rape where there is insufficient evidence to prosecute. This is an unsolvable problem with the crime of rape. Unless the victim has the strength and presence of mind to go to the hospital for a SANE exam, it can be devilishly hard to prove. The left’s answer: to simply prosecute accused men regardless of the merits of the case, has led to women abusing the system. After all, it’s an easy way to get revenge on someone you don’t like. This isn’t justice either. This is Crystal Mangum. In the cases currently before us, Moore’s case is 40 years old, and is a he-said-she-said. It likely can’t be criminally investigated, being beyond the statute of limitations. I would like to see him step aside and retire into obscurity where he belongs. However, unless and until he’s elected, there isn’t a whole lot anyone can do to force his hand. Nor can he be claimed as an exemplar of the GOP, as this information came out AFTER he won the primary election. In addition, the timing of the release of this information is probably the result of a WaPo attempt to win an otherwise impossible Senate seat for the Democrats. This also needs to be investigated. What did the Post know, and when did it know it? In Trump’s case, we have an ex-wife and an ex-girlfriend who apparently made false accusations against Trump during emotionally charged and bitter breakups. The ex-wife now explicitly states her accusations were false. Other cases against him include a woman who claims she was groped while sitting next to Trump on an airliner. A witness who was there claims nothing happened. Another claims that a hug and kiss greeting went on too long - a frivolous charge. Is Trump a predator? Possibly. But the multiple false claims against him make it hard to pick out real cases against the noise of those who make false accusations just because they hate his guts. People who cry wolf really screw things up when an actual wolf is on the loose. Conyer’s cases are also he-said-she-said cases, that are still being investigated. They’re far more recent than Moore’s (2015-2016). I can wait to see what the outcome of the investigation is before deciding he needs to go, but I expect you to demand his resignation if the charges are found credible. Franken’s case has produced photographic proof that he’s a pig. He needs to go. Period.

Regarding Moore, there's probably nothing that can be done. Statute of limitations is up -- it was only 3 years in Alabama at the time of these offenses. However, these offenses coupled with his being thrown off the bench twice should give voters pause. Regarding Trump, two things: (1) The Access Hollywood video and Trump's statements captured there; and (2) Trump's statement, I believe on that video, that he can do anything he wants to to women. There's more than enough there to warrant an investigation. I agree on the other 2.

However, these offenses coupled with his being thrown off the bench twice should give voters pause. I agree. It should give them pause. The problem is that Jones’ support of Obamacare and the Paris Agreement (among other liberal policies) is also going to give Alabama voters pause. There is a brand new write-in candidate, Lee Busby, who is a retired marine colonel. Probably it’s too little, too late. But who knows? You guys shot your load on Trump investigations with the Russia probe. Another one, when the first one is increasingly looking like the witch hunt Trump says it is, will turn Trump into a martyr, and further erode Democrat credibility. The Access Hollywood video is certainly crude and boastful, but then Trump was also frequent guest on Howard Stern. These are venues for shock-value statements that really shouldn’t be taken seriously. Everyone has known Trump is crude and boastful for decades. This isn’t a reason to overturn an election. When you look at the accusations against Trump, Zevros’ case is still active. That should be allowed to play out, and maybe, if there’s substance to it, there could be an additional investigation. The other two lawsuits are over and done with, and at least one of them was entirely without merit according to the woman who filed it. The remaining accusations include a few with eyewitnesses who state nothing happened, a couple that appear to be friendly greetings that might have been misinterpreted, a couple that might be incidental contact that was misinterpreted, and nothing that is probably malicious.
