(1) Rep. Conyers is accused -- credibly -- of sexual harassment. He finally decides to resign from Congress.
(2) Sen. Al Franken is accused -- credibly -- of sexual harrassment. He apologizes. His political career may be over.
(3) Donald Trump, running for president, is accused -- credibly -- by many women of sexual abuse. He denies anything, threatens to sue, and defames some of the women. He wins election.
(4) Roy Moore, running for the Senate, is accused -- credibly -- by several women of sexual assault and harassment and rape of a 14 year old. He denies everything and says that his Andaccusers are lying. It looks like he might win his election. And the GOP puts is full weight behind Moore, pushing money into his campaign.
I have to wonder just what the GOP stands for. What kind of party says we have to protect your daughter in the womb, but watch out when she turns 14??
What does GOP mean today? Grand Old Pedophile? Grand Old Perverts?
Looks like it. Watch as the Republican party crumbles.
Speaking for myself, as an independent, I find that I'm often voting for the less of two evils. I don't live in Alabama and thus can't appreciate all of the hidden nuances but I suspect some perceive the democratic candidate to be a poor enough choice to risk voting for a potential sexual predator. And I suspect some voters will question accusations that conveniently surface right before an election. I will never know the truth as I wasn't there. Voters will have to trust their intuition; those living in the state will likely be closer to the mark as a collective whole than those of us on the outside looking in.
This is not a republican problem. It is a powertrip problem. The wealthy or politically affluent seem to enjoy flying above the radar while hurting others for decades. This is starting to change.
Conyers not only abused women for over 30 years, but was using a taxpayer funded slush fund to pay off any that complained. Franken not only stole his election, but has photographic evidence of his abuse of women. He's not being pushed to resign. Trump was accused by golddiggers, and women that didn't get the wealth and fame they thought they would by their association with him. None of his accusers have produced any evidence whatsoever. Moore was "accused" by women of dating them, when they were of age, and hugging or kissing them. Consentually. The only one claiming he assaulted her is a drug abuser, alcoholic, 3 time divorcee, with massive financial problems, who had her brother sentenced to prison by Moore, who's mother's divorce was adjudicated by Moore, and also has shown zero evidence. Does that clear it up for you?

We all knew trump had no morals and certainly no conservative credentials. I can’t imagine the Princes actually like the creep. But it is shocking how few GOP leaders will stand up against Chester the Molester
Actually, Demopublican, it's not so much that that won't stand up. It's that they dismiss the behavior. Trump denies anything, even though many of the claims seem credible, and the Party of the Perverts says that nothing must have happened if he says so. Roy Moore denies anything, even though many, most, all of the claims seem credible, and the Party of the Pedophile says that nothing must have happened. But when it's a Democrat who's charged, it doesn't matter what he says, whether he admits or denies the accusations. He's guilty and must be punished in some manner.
It's a double standard from the right. The Republicans claim to be the party of "family values." Except when the perp denies doing anything and further denigrates his victim. Then it's all OK.
At this time, I would wait and see what the Democrats do with Franken and Kihuen.
Conyers wants his son to follow him. If the Democrats allow this, they’re extremely foolish.
I do not support Moore, but Doug Jones is a pro-abortion extremist, and I couldn’t support him either. There are many people in Alabama who consider his position the equivalent of supporting infantacide. Given a choice between what they consider a kid-killer, and a kid-toucher it isn’t surprising the kid toucher is holding his own. I do not envy Alabamans their predicament.
If Franken and Kihuen remain in Congress, it will be extremely difficult to push Moore out. If the Democrats are serious about Moore, they’ll get the log out of their own eye. Otherwise, continuing to harp about Moore is going to be a non-starter.
The accusations against Trump include at least two that have been refuted by eyewitnesses, one that has been renounced by the accuser (Ivanna’s divorce claims), and several that are really trivial. Yes, Trump is boorish. But the claims that he’s anything more are not credible.

You mean Conyers? Or Franken? "No morals"? Yet you will defend to the death Waco Billy Boy, who was credibly accused of rape and sexual assault, and his crone, who committed treason, obstruction of justice, and sold her influence all of her political life.

No, you find them credible only because it's Trump. You dismissed the rape allegations against Waco Billy Boy, you ignore the assault accusations, backed up by photos, of Franken, and you have no problem with Conyers not only assaulting women for over 30 years, but using tax money to pay off his accusers. The Party of the Perverts is now in the minority, and that's why all these accusations are coming out, so they believe they can now attack Trump for the paid for accusations against Moore.

Speaking of foolish... it couldn't be more foolish than not supporting any candidate based on one single issue...
Plenty of reason NOT to support Roy Moore... even besides his position on abortion and before any allegations of sexual misconduct...
Roy Moore -- twice-disgraced judge -- twice removed from the bench -- someone who thinks he's above the law -- especially the law regarding the age of majority. GOPPP! (Grand Old Party of Perverts and Pedophiles).

I have no idea what you're talking about. That looks like a picture of Vice-President Biden with his grandchildren (or some of them, don't know how many he has). Do you have children? Grandchildren? Do you kiss them?

Well you're honest, you have no idea. Maybe I can help, Biden has a reputation with little kids.

I'll give Biden the benefit of the doubt for now but that picture gives me the creeps. Look at the expression of those in the background; they look a bit uncomfortable.

"Disgraced" how? By ignoring illegal "rulings" from atheist, Democrat "judges"? The same type of "judge" that ruled on Trump's immigration hold based on comments he made instead of the actual law?
All is not lost for the abortion party, you still have Menendez, both Clinton's and the inept turd that Trump replaced.
Party of abortion is funny when you consider all of the times Trump probably paid for abortions for his girlfriends
Got any proof? Or are you just throwing things out there, hoping to derail the truth, that the only qualification to be a Party of the KKK bigwig is to support the genocide of blacks?
Amazing to see the "Church" support politics over morality... but not surprising...
They aren't. Which is why they support Moore over the abortionist.
One would expect the church to support a moral decision on abortion, but it is legal... sexually molesting a 14-year-old is not only immoral, it is also illegal...
