I really enjoyed your first line, RJ: "The fundamental problem with leftists who scream about the truth, is that they've pushed so far into delusion, that those of us with at least one foot in reality can't take them seriously."
You claim to have some college education. Your father worked in economics. You should have some familiarity with statistics and statistical models. Remember the Bell Curve? Remember the ends of the Bell Curve? Then it makes sense that there are people who have gender identity problems, people born male who identify more with female and the other way around too.
No one is claiming that a man is a woman . . . except your regressives who unmisunderstand and misstate everything. That's why I also question the second part of your opening statement, that you have at least one foot in reality. You've never shown that. You have shown that you have a foot, probably both, in some reality dominated by untruth, where lies are facts and sexual harrassment doesn't matter if someone said it never really happened.
I've said it before and, unfortunately, I'll probably have to say it again: open your eyes, open your perspectives, look at issues from multiple sides before taking a position. I realize it's hard for you regressives to think outside the Fox-Breitbart box, but give it a try some time. You might be surprised that you actually learn something.

I realize it's hard for you regressives to think outside the Fox-Breitbart box, but give it a try some time. You might be surprised that you actually learn something. In order to help you out, I've highlighted an egregious delusion in your post. Transgender activists insists we call men women and vice versa. That you would argue this is ludicrous. I'm well aware that there are small numbers of people who suffer from gender dysphoria. This is a mental disorder, which in most cases resolves itself naturally over time, in some cases is best treated psychiatrically, and even smaller percentage of these people may get some benefit from chemically and surgically modifying their bodies to give them the approximate appearance of the opposite sex. But the people with y-chromisomes are still male, and the people with xx-chromisomes are still female. Pretending otherwise, and insisting others do as well, only reinforces the delusion.

Another example of the Left's disconnect from reality is the abortion issue. This delusion is held together with euphemism.
Terms like fetus and "pro-choice" are employed to disguise the fact that an abortion is the killing of an unborn human child. Because facing the reality of abortion is disturbing even to the Left. The delusion they share helps them live with themselves, and of course promote their ghoulishness.
It would be much easier to respect the pro-abortion crowd if that's what they called themselves. And it would be much easier to come to terms with certain realities like rape and life-threatening pregnancies if we could all get beyond pretending abortion as birth control isn't horrific.

You're really boxing yourself in, RJ. Gender Identity is a mental illness. Guess you think homosexuality is a mental disorder too, one that can be "cleared up" with proper treatment.
And I don't think too many people would disagree with the fact that abortion kills an unborn human child. However, that unborn child does not have the constitutional protections that persons who are born have. Please note, for the record, that I'm opposed to abortion. I think it's wrong. But it's also the law of the land, at least for the time being.

You're really boxing yourself in, RJ. Gender Identity is a mental illness. Guess you think homosexuality is a mental disorder too, one that can be "cleared up" with proper treatment. Again you prove my point. Gender dysphoria IS a mental disorder. That's not me boxing myself in. That's the American Psychiatric Association: www.psychiatry.org/patients-families/gender-dysphoria/what-is-gender-dysphoriaThe facts don't care about your delusions. No matter how deeply rooted they are. Homosexuality is simply a sexual attraction to the same sex. That is no more a mental disorder than a preference for a specific kind of food. I would argue that it is fundamentally a choice, and should not require any more legal protection than announcing that one really loves brussels sprouts (no matter how disgusting brussels sprouts are to normal people), but that's another matter. In any event, it is not an apt comparison. A gay man is sexually attracted to other men - this is merely a behavior pattern. A transgender man believes he is a woman - this is an assertion of something that isn't true. I may or may not have the same taste in sexual partners as the gay man, but his choice of partners doesn't involve me needing to validate him. A transgender man who requires me to use feminine pronouns to describe him, or share a locker room with my wife... he's demanding I participate in his mental disorder. That's not healthy for anyone.

To fully illustrate my point: This is Elizabeth Warren: She has made no effort to alter her appearance, but she says she is Native American. She is not. If you want to believe she is Native American, and Harvard wants to list her as a "woman of color" to pretend to be more diverse, that's on you and Harvard. But it would be wrong to force Harvard to accept her as a "woman of color" without any evidence she is. Likewise it would be wrong to demand anyone else accept her as Native American. This is Rachel Dolezal: She has used some combination of tanning, cosmetics and hair products to make her appear to be African American. She is not. If you want to believe she is, and the NAACP want to make her President of the Spokane Washington Chapter, that's on you and the NAACP. But it would be wrong to go to the NAACP and demand they continue to employ her as President of that chapter after it was discovered she is not, for the same reason it's wrong to demand anyone else accept her as African American. This is Caitlyn Jenner: She has undergone surgery and hormone treatment to make her appear female (and she is STILL the least effed up member of the Kardashian/Jenner clan). She is not female. If you want to use female pronouns and pretend she is, that's on you. But it would be wrong to force biological females to compete with her in the Decathlon, for the same reason it's wrong to demand anyone else accept her as female. This is Maria Cristerna: She has undergone extensive surgery and other body modifications to make her appear to be a demoness. I know this will come as a shock to Leftists, but she is not a demoness. If you want to worship her and sacrifice small furry animals to her, that's on you, but it would be profoundly wrong. Likewise it would be profoundly wrong to demand others sacrifice small furry animals to her. It is important as intelligent, rational beings that we're able to understand and accept what is real and what isn't. There are times when it is fun/polite/otherwise appropriate to play along and pretend. But we must NEVER forget that Warren isn't really Native American, Dolezal isn't really black, Jenner isn't really female, and Cristerna isn't really a preternatural hell-creature. Now you may say, but that's ridiculous! No one would ever think Cristerna crawled out of hell. I would have thought that too, before Liberals started pretending Warren, Dolezal and Jenner were something they aren't and demanding everyone else avow that 2+2=5.

You're really into this stuff, RJ. Some sort of fetish? How do you categorize the women at work that you hug all the time?

You're really into this stuff, RJ. Some sort of fetish? How do you categorize the women at work that you hug all the time? I wouldn’t call reality a fetish. But I understand that you do. Reality is clearly downright kinky to you, isn’t it? I categorize my co-workers as "friends." I can tell that's another basic concept you are unfamiliar with. Maybe go look it up.

I understand friends, RJ. I have had some friends for over 50 years.
I also understand fetish. I just don't understand your fetish with women, especially women you work with or, as above, women you don't even know. Must be some sort of conservative thing, like what your hero Trump does.

You're thinking of the Logan Act re: Flynn. Which surprisingly isn't a problem for the left when Kerry flagrantly violates it. Kerry isn't meddling in Trump's Iranian foreign policy... Trump has not announced a policy for Iran... he doesn't have one... he simply wants to undo someone else'e Iranian policy... Kerry is defending an old policy which he helped negotiate... not the current administration's policy... Flynn was attempting to negotiate future foreign policy with the Russians in behalf of Trump... The Gigolo has no authority to "defend" any policy, other than here, by writing to newspapers, or tweeting, or some such. When he meets with the leaders of foreign powers, especially enemy foreign powers, he has violated the Logan Act, and is possibly involved in treason. But then, he's used to doing that. Remember his attempts to surrender the US to the NV in Paris? Flynn was part of the Cabinet. It was his job to deal in policy on behalf of the President.

In order to assist you, I have highlighted the part of your statement that makes Kerry's activities a violation of the Logan Act. As far as the U.S. is concerned under Trump... that policy is null and void... it might as well not exist... but other countries can and seem to plan to pursue the same conditions of the policy from which Trump removed us... what he and the other countries are discussing is not a policy between the U.S. and any of those countries... Really? Who from the Pub side has attempted to 'negotiate' a deal with a foreign government while a private citizen? That has been the sole province of the Party of the KKK since Trump was elected. It's time he started revoking passports while they are in a foreign country, and refusing to allow them back in.

I've never said Trump was some kind of freak... I have said numerous times that he is an unscrupulous businessman... a bully... dishonest... and unfair to his employees... freak?... no... And I haven't even mentioned the Logan Act... you did... but Flynn was not a government employee when he did those things... neither is Kerry now... He was part of the transition team. Unlike The Puppet, who sent "envoys" to Communist countries while he was still a candidate, transition teams are designed, and intended to contact those in other countries that they will be dealing with.

Felons also have surrendered their Constitutional rights, so can we simply kill them as well? How about Muslims, especially those that don't reside here? And yes, homosexuality is a mental illness. It was declared such until about 15 years ago, when the Leftists took over the psychiatric profession, and made sure that it was removed from the book. You can't define it any other way. Not seriously.

Perhaps, had people suggested he go easy on the mods and get some help from a psychiatrist to help him remain more human looking, he would still be alive. He likely died because everyone indulged him. But, hey, way to try to change the topic to me again.

There is a difference between accepting other people - which everyone ought to do within reason - and "accepting what other people choose to be." And it's an important one. Someone with a y-chromosome simply can not choose to be a woman. A white person can't choose to be black or Native American. This sort of nonsense leads to male athletes competing with female athletes, and it often leads to serious medical and legal consequences. As far as Sprague, Cristerna, and Avner go, I am happy to accept them as people. Where I draw the line is accepting them as a lizard, demon or cat.

But thanks again... twice for CNN... over 2,000 for Trump... and not a single retraction from him... "Going with what you have at the time" is a recipe for disaster. Because they didn't bother to verify anything, just ran with it, they came out looking like a laughing stock. Their credibility is nonexistent except with the NeverTrumpers, who will believe anything as long as it makes Trump look bad. The entire "investigation" is collapsing from it's own lack of credibility, because they "went with what they had at the time". It looks more and more like any indictments coming out of the "investigation" will be against the investigators, and the operators, not anyone in the Trump campaign. They have destroyed any chance they ever had of prevailing. As for Trump, nearly all the "lies" he's been accused of have turned out to be the truth. Of course, if all you listen to is CNN or MSNBC, or all you read is the NYT, you wouldn't know any of that.

And no, I don't recall Kerry trying to surrender the U.S. to NV.... but don't forget, we did lose that war... Exactly. And that's a crime. Remember, Flynn was originally accused of violating the Logan Act, because he contacted Russians in the day to day operation of his job at the time. Flynn's visits to the Russians were NOT prior to the election. Transition happens prior to inauguration. Every time there is a new President. I notice that you have no problem with The Puppet sending "envoys" to foreign governments prior to his election. Or to his using tax dollars to influence the elections in Israel or France. We lost that war because the Party of the KKK wanted us to lose that war. And Flynn was part of his Cabinet. It was his job to meet with people from other countries that were his counterparts. Notice that no one complained when The Puppet's Cabinet picks did exactly the same thing. This entire witch hunt is nothing more than a quiet coup, designed to annul the legal election of the President. Everyone involved should be arrested and charged with sedition. americanpatriotsagainstkerry.wordpress.com/john-kerry-meeting-north-vietnamese-in-paris/www.wnd.com/2004/10/26929/www.wintersoldier.com/staticpages/index.php?page=20040421205043310Kerry has a history of sedition and treason.
