You're hiring folks to clean and I assume the ad makes that clear. You're unlikely to get any rocket surgeons. That said, expecting the employer to call is... special.

Oh we know full well we're not hiring rocket scientists but we do have a couple techs that do care about working, are responsible, and are willing to learn. Good factor for human cloning here LOL

When did cleaning ladies / housekeepers become field technicians? Coming up with more nicer sounding job titles to attract better help is nothing new. But "field technician" to me usually implies something like cable installer, server hardware repairman or even the Maytag guy.

There are times we may not compete in price but we can compete in quality Mrs. B seems to have mastered the art of the duster and mop and if I may say so, I'm not to shabby with them myself. As for the vacuum cleaner, I'll take all comers over 100 yards.

what about agencies...RC? any luck using them...or...haven't you tried them? You mean temp agencies? We have tried that but they determine what the salary will be. That doesn't work for us.

Back in '96 when we first moved here, I hired a cleaning lady. I was working 12 or 14 hour days and my husband was with his old firm traveling frequently several times a month, coast to coast, for several days at a time, so we had little down time. At that time I still had my old apartment in Laurel, so to avoid the commute I sometimes crashed there. The cleaning lady was thorough but she blew through here at lightning speed and one day she broke a special handmade, hand-painted ceramic cotton ball container that my husband had given me our first Christmas together. The handle on the lid was shaped like a heart, and the heart broke off. I was able to glue it back together and still have it but I'll never forget how sad I was when she broke that. I am very Zen like when I do cleaning. Cleaning is relaxing to me.

Some typo's on that site Champ. Someone needs to give a good proof read. I would think that attention to detail is important for a cleaning company. Here's a sentence from the site. As wil all our cleanings, we a cleaning checklist to ensure each job we do is done to perfection. Fix those typos Champ.

for 90 days yes, until you prove yourself. What do they have to do to prove themelves Champ? After that what do you pay them? What's minimum wage these days? What does Walmart pay? McDonalds? Isn't that easier and more pleasant work?
