Current known cases of Ebola in the US = 0. Do you know how many are on watch lists? I googled, but the last date was Oct 20, but somewhere I read there were still hundreds being monitored. There seem to be at least 13,000 cases still in Africa. I am glad there are no current cases here.

Obama brought it here... I guess he sent it back... Is he good or what? But seriously, somebody must be doing something right. The Fear-bola has been pretty quiet lately.

There are exceptions, but few viruses can jump species. Is Ebola one of them? Not that I have heard. So... why are they testing the dog?

I have read that the current outbreak has been traced back to a tiny Guinean village, where a baby died probably due to infection from a fruit bat. Link: www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-30199004

I was commenting to my wife that you don't hear much about the Ebola crisis these days. What ever happened to Mr. Duncan's family? Did they survive the quarantine period?

You should, it's still going on. Perhaps America will become interested in it again if/when another case is diagnosed on its own soil.

I know it's going on; I commented because I have an interest in it. But I don't have any control over the news wires.

You do, however, have control of your media source and the interwebs are a wonderful thing for your own mental nourishment
