I'm guessing you guys are referring to the "socialist" state with regard to the poor and people of color... right?... No. I have written here and elsewhere objecting to bailouts of large corporations, particularly banks and automakers, who should have been permitted to fail due to the incompetence of their leaders. The bank chiefs, in particular, whose risk-incompetence injured the economy gravely, should have gone to prison for some charge derived from economic malfeasance. I do not believe the government should favor businesses with tax relief (to lure them in) either. That's people who don't know how picking winners and losers on the basis of political donations or some other irrelevant criterion. That's good to know... but what would you suggest when a corporation, such as GM, needs a loan so big that there isn't a financial institution big enough to loan it to them... other than the federal government?... go belly up?... tens of thousands of employees lose their jobs? ... foreign competition jump in and take over?... costing the country more than the bailout would have been?... Big corporations have made the middle class in America what it is... because of good wages and good benefits... and yes, partly because of the unions... and now, some would like to abandon them... in favor of foreigners...

I just saw an interesting comparison-the same number of people have died from the Ice Bucket Challenge as Ebola in the US.

I'm guessing you guys are referring to the "socialist" state with regard to the poor and people of color... right?... You mean those the Dems have intentionally put in those positions, and have no intention of ever allowing them the liberty to improve their lot? The "people of color" that the Dems are doing their best to eradicate with abortion? And intend to maintain as slaves until that happens?

There have been at least 243 deaths in the state of California alone from Swine Flu (H1N1 virus) this year...
1 in the Country... from Ebola...

What is the authority for the Federal government to "make loans" to any business, regardless of "need"? And once that "loan" is made, to whom is that corporation now beholden? Did the corporation buy the Democrats that made those "loans" before, or after the "loans" were made?

Ebola is a crisis because it is a very nasty disease that could kill millions in the US if, 1) is allowed to get in and, 2) it isn't properly isolated, quarantined and contained if/when it does get in. It won't only kill democrats, it will kill republicans too and any other other political flavor you can come up with.

I'm guessing you guys are referring to the "socialist" state with regard to the poor and people of color... right?... Wow, you're good. Extracting classism and racism from thin air in one nicely bundled post. The socialism I was referring to is killing all classes and races. You're just too blinded by partisanship to see it.

The question "right?" requests a "Yes" or "No" answer... not an explanation... And my granddaughter recognized that immediately... thank you...
