I don't let other people define my positions. Such is the way of the DSummoner for it is the way, that was the way, that will be the way for the Way is what it is. Politics is merely a game. Nothing more and nothing less (sure a few or a few million Meatsacks might get trampled along the way but no one is keeping score on their account). Keeping an eye on the endgame helps to place things in their proper perspective. I meant more you don't like the idea of any kind of socialized medicine so even if it's successful in the supporters eyes it still won't be in yours . I realize you think for yourself! I don't support socialized X because socialized X inevitably means both a political system to enforce the economic dictates. This in turn means the use of coercion. Any program, irrespective of its nature, that has merit, should be able to stand on its merit rather than resorting to coercion (irrespective of how 'good' the purported basis is for coercion). The American healthcare system has long since been corrupted by both socialism and a certain type of provider legal supply side limitation.

That's because "socialized medicine" is only supported by the serfs, who see "free" health care, since someone else will be paying for it. Of course, when they have cancer, and can't get the medicines because the government doesn't think they are worth the price, or their child has a serious accident, and can't get in to see a specialist for a year or more, because there aren't enough doctors, then they will complain, but it will be far too late.
