HIPPA only applies to patient records, not a doctor's record. And if you know anything about medical practice, they are very different things. Duh. Really? How so?

What do you mean by the doctors record? Are you suggesting there is documentation of a patient that is not part of the patients medical record? What kind of documentation would be in the doctors record?

Dr. Ben Carson is a good man and many people know and respect him. And now he is just a joke. No, it's The Puppet that's the joke. Putin is holding his head and giving him nuggies, after stealing all his lunch money. Al Queada doesn't even bother to think about him, since they know he is incapable of doing anything at all about them. Even his heros in Europe are ignoring him.

Sounds like you don't understand "irony". What he says sounds pretty reasonable to me, and to probably over half this country. To you it may sound crazy, well thankfully your (and my) views are not the majority in this country. Let me get this right. Carson made some very stupid remarks (condemning and ridiculing a group of people) and when he got called out for them he invokes a quote (that no one can find Lenin ever said) that has to do with being ridiculed. And yet you claim I am the one that doesn't understand "irony". LOL Sounds like his views were not the views of the JHH Medical Students and is why he was uninvited to speak at the JHH Medical Students Graduation. So, telling the truth about the Marxist's dehumanizing of any and all opposition is now a " stupid remark"? How many times has Dingy Harry called the Koch Bros "unAmerican", while sending the BLM goons out to possibly kill a rancher so his son can make millions in a land deal? How many times has The Puppet illegally rewritten "his" law so that those that will be destroyed by it won't be destroyed until after Dems can lie their way back into office?

I like when black professionals speak out against the ghetto lifestyle and ebonics mindset, then the people who support such things trash the educated speakers. It's a well known pattern.

Because I assure you we can find links to support Ravenchamps statement. You don't have this copy (parrot) style of response down very well do you?

Conservatives frustrated with the direction of the country think Dr. Ben Carson can change the course by winning the 2016 presidential race. Now they just have to convince him. The group, RunBenRun.org, a super PAC, has already raised $4 million toward a Carson bid for the Republican nomination and has collected 200,000 signatures for a petition to get him to join the race. John Philip Sousa IV, the group’s national chairman, said Tuesday that members are working Carson on an almost daily basis, sending along petition-drive updates and hundreds of “clamorings” for him to run, received through letters, Facebook postings and other forms of communication. “I don’t’ like the direction in which the county is going,” said Sousa, the great grandson of the late American composer John Philip Sousa, who wrote such iconic songs as “Stars and Stripes Forever” and “Semper Fidelis,” the official march of the U.S. Marine Corps. “Carson doesn’t whine like some other Republicans. He brings a solution to the table.” www.foxnews.com/politics/2014/04/12/carson-for-president-back-report-4-million-raised-campaign-apparatus-into-place/When you come to think about it, what sort of dipstick donates money to someone who has said he won't stand... will they get a refund when he eventually hasn't stood?

Between you making the statement about a 'ban on soda' and and mr medical sameoldhotdiggity's statement "HIPPA only applies to patient records, not a doctor's record. And if you know anything about medical practice, they are very different things". Obviously a little bit of knowledge does not go a very long way on here.

Dr. Ben Carson is a good man and many people know and respect him. I have a lot of respect for Dr. Carson but someone is going to have to explain to me how being a world famous neurosurgeon qualifies him to be POTUS. We just elected a "community organizer" who voted present every time a stand on an issue was asked of him....with the thinnest resume of anyone ever who has held the office. Twice. I'd take my chances with a highly trained doctor who has actually accomplished something productive in his life. But the other posters here are correct....he won't run.

What's worse is if he did he would probably turn out to be an egomaniac as pointed out by EY. I would like to see someone who has accomplished something in US society besides convincing other people to give him money be elected for a change. Someone who made a product, ran a business, or provided a service, not just another empty suit law degree career politician. Frankly that will not happen because to actually have done something you will have made mistakes, any mistakes nowadays are blown out of proportion to the extent that it makes them unelectable. We are doomed to elect career politicians who have done NOTHING hence made no mistakes.

I prefer new style politicians for once, persons who follow the laws and have no political experience. We've come to that.
