Lines are often drawn in the sand, to disappear when the wind changes Did I mention sand?... you mention a lot of things.

Did I mention sand?... you mention a lot of things. Yeah... but sand wasn't one of them this time...

You guys take a lot away from good discussions here with your petty attacks on me... which doesn't bother me a bit... only shows your ignorance and avoidance of the topic...

These people have been saying for a VERY long time that they are intent on global conquest. This has zero to do with Reagan, or even Israel back in the 1940s. This goes back before the Turks marched on Vienna, the Moores occupied Spain, or Vlad the Impaler got his name. Islam's roots are in global jihad, and we ignore their threats at our peril. You can pretend we aren't at war with them all you want. They are at war with us - whether we like it or not. At some point, boots on the ground WILL be necessary. If for no other reason then they decide to cross into Turkey, and our NATO obligations demand it. Is that anything like "Biblical days"... a time I have said numerous times over many years that these people have been fighting ... each other... (2 tribes vs 10 tribes)... but not necessarily against us... till Ronnie Raygun stuck his nose in their faces... "Boots on the ground" will only result in more dead Americans... and they'll still be there fighting among themselves when we leave... were we to do anything, we aught to draw a line and bomb the hell out of them when they cross it... like Clinton did to Ole Slobo in Yugoslavia... Looks like he took my advice...

(which I see you didn't bolden)... Personally, I had rather "we" did leave them alone... and let them bomb their own to hell... I also said... "And these people will continue to be at perpetual war with those same folks for generations to come... and will (and would have) leave us alone if we'd leave them alone... something Ronnie Raygun just couldn't, and didn't, do"...
"Anybody who thinks we are going anywhere and take care of all the terrorists... needs to set their alarm clocks louder... and make them afraid?... even louder... it ain't gonna happen... even if you nuke 'em"... "Boots on the ground" would be another waste of American lives... haven't we sacrificed enough already?... "You can bomb 'em to hell and back and they'll still be crawling out of the cracks... you ain't gonna kill 'em all"... "We were basically leaving them alone... and they were making isolated attacks against each other here and there... till the trigger happy Ronald Raygun came along and just had to play war games in the Gulf of Sidra... and riled up the whole damn bunch of 'em over there... and they've wanted to kill us ever since"...

I mean, he DID draw a line in Syria, then proceeded to pretend that he didn't. Still, it's amusing as hell to see aboutwell suggest that after supporting not doing anything, he supports the bombing campaign. Just goes to show that Obama can do no wrong for some people.

There are some real idiots around here... What else could you have meant by "looks like he took my advice"? Looks like he decided to do something... and bombed the hell out of them like Clinton did... my advice if we did anything... as you should know... my position was to leave 'em alone... and let them, not us, bomb the hell out of themselves... that's what I supported... and so far... "they" have dropped the most bombs...

So then you supported the bombing... and indeed in a sense advocated for it - that's what's usually meant by 'my advice.'

Sure I can read. However, literacy is a two way street. In order for you to get your point across, you need to be able to write. And yet here you are - using language to confuse every point you make, yet again.

I have other priorities... I could be more emphatic... but I'd get more penalty points... and I like to keep it clean when I can... some of you guys really try my resolve...

It says it all in your signature aboutwell... you're under no obligation to make sense. No one here really expects you to. We're all used to it.

Thank you... at least you seem to understand that...
That signature doesn't say all I want it to say...
And I doubt seriously that you speak for all here...
