You're serious aren't you? ROTFLMAO. Yep... And you saw that Reid, Pelosi, and Wendy Davis were all on that list. And you still think Lee is the only funny one?

Well, I could have added Davis... she doesn't have much national recognition... but Pelosi and Reid would be viable were they both not too old and looking at retirement... they're not "funnies"...

Pretty much the entire rest of the country begs to differ with you that Pelosi and Reid could ever be viable candidates, even if they weren't too old. Pelosi has the IQ of a turnip, and Reid is the definition of 'bitter old white man.'

Correct... and guess who selects the Democratic nominee... the voters... (precinct caucus, county convention, district convention, and state convention)... the Republican nominee?... not so much... a select few Republicans here go to Jackson and select their choice for nominee...

Well, and then you went and said you'd be comfortable with her in that role. I didn't seriously suggest Bachmann as president either. I just put her out there as a choice because she's run before... that, and she'd be much better at it than Pelosi. Of course, that's only saying she'd make a better president than a possum.

In other words, the "voters" are going along with the Democrat "machine." And those "voters" are only a subset of eligible voters--especially when the turnout is appallingly low. As for the "voters" (precinct caucus, county convention, district convention, and state convention)... if the slate is the worst choice possible, that slate will still get elected. Perhaps the voting might be more interesting if two choices could be selected for each candidate: [FOR] or [AGAINST], where one could not vote [FOR] one candidate and also vote [AGAINST] the opposing candidate. That and a majority requirement for the winning candidate might result in more than one runoff.

No... the voters participating in the various caucuses and conventions aren't "going along with anything"... there is NO SLATE at the caucuses and/or conventions here... (in fact, I challenged the congressional district convention several years ago when they tried to make one... they wanted to be sure Blacks were on it)... and those participating are "any eligible registered voter... I have participated in the last 10 myself...
