You're being silly again. Pelosi is as big a joke as Lee is. For the same reason I put Lee in the other poll: She's run before. You made the list... I didn't... And sure Pelosi is a joke... she'll be 76 buy the time the 2016 elections get here... Harry?... almost 77... And Hillary will be 69. Does 8 years really mean that much to you to declare someone a joke?

Yes... the only president elected who was over the age of 74 died from Alzheimer's... a condition that may have effected him while he was still in the Oval Office...

I was talking about states all over the U.S.--I didn't realize you were talking about MS. Sorry... I didn't realize you were speaking of all 50 states and the other U.S. Territories... especially since you were responding to MY comments where I said... "....a select few Republicans here go to Jackson and select their choice for nominee..."... that's Jackson, Mississippi, you know?... OK, but if you had said "here" up front, I would've realized it was all about MS. After your "the Republican nominee?... not so much...," your "a select few Republicans here go to Jackson and select their choice for nominee..." seemed like an aside, comparing it to what the Republicans might do in other states.

The only president that appears to have been affected by Alzheimer's while in office is the current one. How else would you explain the fact that he apparently it when he said "If you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan"? Or maybe that was some sort of developmental disability... or maybe it was the pot talking.

Let's try not to get in a pissing contest here...

Would you feel comfortable with Pelosi in the White House? As comfortable as I have felt with a couple of others who were there during my lifetime... The only one I can think even remotely close to Pelosi is maybe Carter, but Pelosi would out dumb Carter by a country mile. Who is another during your lifetime.

If folks really knew what was going on... nobody should have felt comfortable during Reagan... and nobody could have felt comfortable during "W"...

Come on ab, you can't be comparing Reagan and Bush to Pelosi? They had more leadership in their little finger than she does in her whole body. How do you think she would have handled 9/11. I shudder to even think about it.

If folks really knew what was going on... nobody should have felt comfortable during Reagan... and nobody could have felt comfortable during "W"... As usual you've got things backwards. Reagan is the only recent one we've had that really knew what he was doing. And W. was a whole lot better than the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Of course, saying W. was a better president than O., is a VERY long way indeed from saying he was a good president.

There was a poster here - I forget now who - who was absolutely convinced that Reagan had Alzheimer's Disease while in office. Could not produce a shred of evidence to support the case, but remained laser focused on it.

Pelosi was one of the best SoTH that we've had in a while... certainly better than the one we've got now...

T'wasn't me... but there is one poster here who has a video of Reagan sleeping during one of his Cabinet meetings... you know?... those meetings some here have been so critical of Obama not attending a few... at least he didn't sleep through the ones he did attend...

I doubt that R didn't sleep through all the ones he did attend... [your statement implies that R did just that...] So R sleeping during one of his Cabinet meetings (and we don't that he slept through the entire meeting) is worse than O skipping (without a good excuse) Cabinet meetings?

Considering what a terrible leader and president he is, we'd be better off if Obama had just skipped his cabinet meetings entirely!

Of course, that is your opinion and your right to believe and say that... And since he's such a bad leader... wonder how bad things will be this time in 2016?...

Huckabee has resigned from most or all boards he was serving on so he can concentrate on the Presidency...

Lol. My question had less to do with why he should be added to the poll, and more to do with dear God, why would he screw the party by running for President again?

Huckabee is too much a religious extremist to do more than fracture the party. The GOP did itself a real disservice, politically, when it got in bed with those folks. However well-meaning most of them might be, they do not represent mainstream America and will not help the party capture the crucial moderates. And there simply aren't enough Ranger John/redleg type conservatives in the country to get a president elected.
