Hart-miller island.....with the sunset colored by the industrial discharge from sparrows point, and the poop recycling plant in the background it's simply stunning. But there is just something FUN about that place! Boats, booze and sun... fun times!! Dobbins Island too!

For beaches on the east coast, I love Assateague Island National Seashore and the Outer Banks. I am a California girl by birth. I love San Diego and Monterey/Carmel. San Francisco is a great place to visit, too. The most exotic place I lived as a child was Oahu, Hawaii. It's tough to beat the weather. My mom didn't enjoy island life nearly as much. I would like to go to San Diego one day, maybe when I visit LA! I've heard nothing but great things about it.

I had one of those it lasted for a while then it failed one of the seals leak. But the pictures you get are super neat. My favorite was taken in Hawaii filming me and my wife snorkeling, and then my wife was filming some of the salmon up here in Alaska spawning . Very cool

My cousin had a Minolta "Snappy" back in the 80's. We abused that camera taking pictures in NY at "The Thousand Islands" on fishing trips.

We don't have cable at our house so I have to go to the library to use Wi-Fi. Next Time I'll do I'll try to load some pictures and videos of some of the stuff we've done. They're pretty cool.

I've returned to the area a couple of times as an adult and I love it. The weather is just about perfect and there is so much to do. Just up the coast is La Jolla. It's breathtaking.

What is that place that was so magical that you can't wait to go back. I've done quite a bit of traveling in Europe and the US and maybe I'm just simple but I prefer beautiful mountains and a lake. Take me to Smith Mountain Lake in VA and I'm a happy girl. I know I still have a lot to see but this place is where I feel happiest!! Home, with my wife, dogs and goats, wherever that is.

Are you enjoying TN? I really love it there, my hubby is from Oak Ridge, we made a quick trip in to see my in-law's at the beginning of the month. I think we'll take a week in the summer!!

I am thoroughly loving it (this time around I get to be home for 3 weeks before having to go back to California). It felt 'right' to be here as the leaves were changing color and there was an actual Autumn. We might be in for just a little bit of snow sooner rather than later and I am excited about the dogs getting their first taste of frozen water falling from the sky! The goats have turned into little fuzzballs as the temperatures have changed and seem to be adapting to the colder weather. During my time here, I have gotten two things out of the way that I always wanted to do but could not do in California (time wise or otherwise). One of which was to get my HCP and the other was to get the motorcycle endorsement on my license. The efficiency of the state, here, and the people working at our local DMV have been great in comparison to California. We have tickets to go see the Diamond Caverns in Park City, KY but that might have to wait until I get back from my next jaunt across the country.

My in-laws would live for us to move to TN. I used to say "no way" but lately it is looking like a possibility, thanks to the wonderful leadership of this fine state (sarcasm intended). Who knows what will happen when we retire, I still have to get my kids through college!!
